Welltel ranked 40th in Deloitte Technology Fast 50 2014

Dublin, Co Dublin, 15th — Welltel today announced that it ranked number 40 in the 2014 Deloitte Technology Fast 50, a ranking of the 50 fastest growing technology companies in Ireland. Rankings are based on average percentage revenue growth over five years.
Welltel’s Managing Director, Ross Murray, credits industry expertise and a strong team work ethic with the company’s growth over the past five years. He said, “We’ve doubled our workforce in the past 12 months and feel this trend is likely to continue as the demand for cloud and hybrid communication services builds momentum with the roll out of genuine fibre connectivity. Our team have consistently delivered a superior level of service to our customers and we feel the fact that many of our customers have been with us since our inception more than 10 years ago is a testament to our staffs level of customer care and attention to detail ”
The Fast 50 programme, now in its fifteenth year in Ireland, ranks the fastest growing technology companies in the Republic of Ireland and Northern Ireland. This year, there are 13 companies from Northern Ireland in the ranking. The average growth rate of the Fast 50 companies named in this year’s ranking is 276%.

The Deloitte Technology Industry Awards took place in Dublin on 7 November 2014. Keynote speakers on the night included Eric Openshaw, Deloitte Global Sector Leader for Technology and Chris Watt, Partner, ECI VC. Media sponsors included the Sunday Business Post and Ulster Business.
