Acquisition Announcement: Welltel Acquire Eyrco

Ross and Mark Website

We are delighted to officially announce that we have completed the acquisition of Eyrco Communications Ltd. t/a Eyrco, a leading provider of contact centre, call recording, voice-assisted artificial intelligence and telephony services. The deal will bring close to 300 enterprise clients with Eyrco to Welltel, making us Ireland’s largest Irish owned, end-to-end business communications provider.

This is a hugely exciting time for both companies as our two highly skilled and experienced teams come together and we launch ‘Welltel Enterprise Division’ as part of Welltel.

There will be no direct change for our customers and it will be business as usual. There are however some small but positive changes internally, the most significant being our move of premises from our old home on Haddington Road into the newly refurbished ‘Welltel House’ in Ballymount. All other contact information and personnel will remain the same. Eyrco Managing Director Mark Evans will take up the position of MD of Welltel Enterprise.

The acquisition brings a new portfolio of services we can now offer our customers including enterprise grade communications, compliance recording, speech analytics and workforce management solutions across five key vendors Avaya, Liquid Voice, Mitel, Nice and Verint. Eyrco has been a market leading provider of Avaya’s Unified Communications as a Service solution and are the only partner in Ireland with the Avaya ‘Partner in customer Excellence’ Award. CEO of Welltel Ross Murray has commented how “Today being a ‘well-connected’ business means more than just voice, data and cloud technology. It means your business has access to thousands of service combinations with dedicated expertise to advise and guide.”

In 2017 Eyrco were awarded a Tech Excellence award for Vertical Market Specialist of the Year and have been shortlisted again this year for the same award which will be announced at the ceremony on May 25th in Citywest Hotel.

The re-branding process is underway and both teams are excited about the future of the company combined. The confidence and passion from everyone is hugely motivating and infectious, with a great team behind us the future is very bright. The level of our engineering team is now second to none in this country in terms of expertise and experience in a variety of industry services.

As a technology driven company, the future is very exciting. We strive to always be leaders in our field and constantly deliver the most business centric solutions to our customers with the highest standard of service and support. We continue to bring a variety of manufacturers and PBX’s into the cloud market in Ireland as well as developing our own in house solutions which is a main contributing factor to our organic growth.
