Ross is the CEO and co-founder of Welltel and leads the development of the short and long term strategy of the business.
Ross has demonstrable results in business growth both in the recent acquisitions by Welltel as well as our organic growth and in his previous venture as owner and director of Taurus Communications for over a decade.
Ross has a vast knowledge of the telecoms and connectivity global landscape and is passionate about keeping Welltel in-line with worldwide standards to ensure customers get the best solutions for their business with the highest quality support & service to back it up.
John Quinn co-founded Welltel in 2007. He has led the sourcing, executing, integrating and financing of the Group and its various acquisitions to date.
Previously, John has served as CEO of JD Champion Ireland, a substantial retail business in Ireland.
Neil is the Chief Revenue Officer for the company and is responsible for revenue generation, sales, marketing and portfolio management across all divisions of Welltel group.
He joined the business in 2020 as a result of the acquisition of Intellicom where he was managing director. Intellicom was a leading provider of cloud UC and Contact centre solutions to the Irish and European market.
Neil has worked in the ICT, Software and Telecoms industry since 1990 in a variety of Management & Executive Director roles in Sales, Marketing, Product Development, Customer & Channel Development and engineering.
Nicky is the M&A Director of Welltel and is responsible for all M&A activities of the group including sourcing and executing acquisitions.
Nicky is a fellow of the institute of chartered accountants in Ireland having trained with PwC in Dublin.
After leaving PwC Nicky was a director of a Dublin based corporate finance adviser. Nicky advised across a range of services including M&A, disposals, debt advisory, corporate restructurings and equity fundraising.
Before joining Welltel in 2019 Nicky was group CFO and Head of Investments at a family office investment group.
Kevin Paige, Chief Technology Officer (CTO) at the Welltel Group, responsible for all aspects of the companies Product, Technology Strategy and IT, which includes Planning, Implementation and Operations.
A commercially orientated career technologist with more than 30 years' experience in the telecoms and IT industries spent building and leading successful companies and sponsoring product & technology services innovation. Kevin has a wealth of experience and capability to support our clients with their projects and initiatives, having held senior business and technology roles at M247, Manx Telecom, eircom Group, Level 3 Communications, Cable and Wireless, Vodafone UK, Barclays Bank, British Airways and BT. Kevin has a holistic perspective on technology and how to bring business benefit to the client in a digital transformation era.
Denise Hayes is our chief people officer and has responsibility for the people strategy at Welltel. This includes developing and delivering our company culture and values; leadership & talent development; attracting & retaining talent, as well as focusing on our organisation design and core people processes.
Prior to joining Welltel in Sept 2021, Denise was a Global HR Manger at Glanbia Group and held roles which encompassed: setting up Glanbia’s IT support services centres in the US and other global satellite office locations; she also seconded for a year to a global IT project change programmes for HR and she was the HR Programme lead for a significant merger at the group. Preceding that she was HR Ops Manager & Business Partner for D&Bs start up site in Sandyford Dublin. Denise started her career on a HR graduate programme in Dell, Limerick.
As Chief Operating Officer at Welltel, Mark McShane is responsible for the global operations of the company. He brings more than 30 years of in-depth experience to Welltel. His wealth of knowledge and leadership have been the driving force in developing and delivering technology-driven business services and solutions, providing outstanding client service, and driving profitable revenue growth.
Prior to joining Welltel in 2017, Mark was the MD of ATS, a provider of technology-driven communication services. Mark led ATS’ efforts to deliver best-in-class unified communications services to thousands of clients.
Mark qualified as a Chartered Accountant having completed a degree in Business Studies in Trinity College Dublin.
Fintan, as the Welltel Group CFO and a Board member, is responsible for leadership of the finance team incorporating procurement, treasury, investment analysis and stakeholder management.
Throughout his professional career, Fintan has extensive experience in private equity investments, asset management, M&A and corporate advisory. After training in EY, Fintan held the role of Group General Manager for a large family office investment group in Sydney, Australia. Prior to joining Welltel, Fintan was CFO in WElink Group.
Fintan is a Fellow of the institute of Chartered Accountants Ireland holding a first class honours degree from University College Cork along with a Higher Diploma in Corporate Finance.
Des is the Head of Sales for Cloud , Security and Connectivity for the Welltel Group. He is a senior Director with 30 years experience within Media, FMCG, Telecoms, Cloud computing and SAS. Highly skilled in growing sales teams both field sales and inside sales teams. Des has board level experience while in Strencom and full P and L responsibility. Des has also been involved in successful mergers and acquisitions while in this role.
As Regional Sales Director for UK Consultancy Start ups at Salesforce, Des and his team were working closely with disruptive consultancy startups. These companies include Series B and C funded companies that are new stars in their industries. The startups in business services vertical include fast growing legal, financial and recruitment companies.
Paul Culbert leads Welltel Business Markets division.
He has over 20 years’ experience in sales and business development across multiple regions and market segments and an extensive background in recruiting and building high-performing sales teams with a passion for leveraging digital transformation to create a better customer experience and drive mutual growth.
Prior to joining Welltel, Paul held senior positions at Vodafone, Eircom and 02 Ireland.
Yogesh Desai is Head of Enterprise Sales in Welltel.
He has over 30 years of experience in the IT, Communications and Services industry covering a number of sales, management and business development roles both locally and globally. Part of this experience is as a Major Deals Manager and Global Business Director at BT, 20 years with Cisco in a variety of Sales, Sales management, Business Development and Business Development management roles, and 8 years at Motorola.
Yogesh has an honours degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Surrey.
Wendy Riordan is the Head of Support for the Welltel, leading the overall management and delivery of our exceptional service and support team for all Welltel clients. Wendy prides herself in building and maintaining partnerships with suppliers, clients and colleagues – delivering results. Wendy is a fierce advocate of a customer centric approach. This coupled with her proven track record in bringing projects and products to life, from concept to completion, has been a cornerstone to our dedicated support team.
Joining Welltel in 2017, Wendy brings over 20 years’ experience in the Telecommunications industry, having worked in various facets such as Product Development, Operations and Sales.
Denis Forde heads up the Voice Services Team in Welltel and is responsible for the management of our team of enterprise service engineers, as well as the day-to-day support of our enterprise customers.
He joined Welltel in 2018 as a result of the acquisition of Eyrco, where he had been a member of the senior management team. In the last 5 years, he has also personally overseen implementations including, a migration of over 1200 users across Ireland and the US to the latest cloud contact centre solution. Denis also completed the migration of 252 branches of a major financial institution from TDM to a private hosted cloud solution across Ireland and the UK with 9 migrations a week.
Denis has been in telecoms for over 23 years, with various roles from engineering, presales, and management. Denis is asked for by name by many enterprises in Ireland as a trusted and safe pair of hands. Denis has won three tech excellence awards in 2013 and 2017 and 2018.
Linda is seasoned B2B Marketing and Communications professional with a clear focus on growth and scalability, incorporating a customer-first approach. With over 20 years international experience within industries like Fintech, SaaS and Pharma, she leads Welltel’s marketing programme.
Employing a collaborative approach, she works across the organisation to leverage capabilities to actively communicate a clear and concise vision that optimizes opportunities and drive results. Linda is a committed advocate & mentor within the marketing industry, serving as a part-time Lecturer in Digital Marketing at University College Dublin.
Pat joined Welltel Group in 2019 to manage the delivery of recently won enterprise class projects. In parallel, he also introduced a project methodology into the business and created a PMO (Project Management Office).
Pat previously was Operations Director and co-founder of Capstone Intelligent Solutions working in the Voice and Contact Centre Enterprise space.
He has worked in both the public and private sector in a technical management function for many years.
Kate McCarthy, Head of Finance, is responsible for the stakeholder reporting, treasury and finance operations of the Welltel Group.
Kate has extensive experience in finance and management having led the finance team for a UK&I renewable energy portfolio of a multinational energy group for the past 3 years. Prior to this, Kate managed the finances for the energy trading division of Gaelectric Holdings, a renewable energy developer. Kate has international consulting experience having worked with US firm Cross Consulting and is a qualified Chartered Accountant following her 4 year stint in KPMG Dublin. Kate also holds a degree in Accounting and Law from the University of Limerick.
Cian is the Head of Voice Products and Technology for Welltel and is responsible for our Voice infrastructure, its underlying technologies and our innovative cloud communications solution, 360.
He was the Founder and CTO of Intellicom which was acquired by the business in 2020.
Cian has over 18 years’ experience in Telecoms, Carrier Infrastructure and Communications Solutions both within Ireland and internationally, providing consulting services to large multinationals and public sector in places such as Bosnia Herzegovina, UAE, USA, Canada and Zambia.
Ed Ronayne is the Head of Technology, Strategy and Solutions where he leads a team responsible for developing and providing highly reliable frictionless IT systems that help organisations streamline their business processes and operations, allowing for a quicker time to revenue.
Ed has worked with organizations as they embark on business transformation projects that are under pinned by WAN or Datacentre resources. With over 20 years industry experience, Ed is a respected technologist with the capability to drive results at all levels - from the board room to the server room.
Chris had held senior product management positions with a range of companies both large and small, such as Claranet, Vtesse, GTT, Capita and Colt. With over twenty-five years of industry experience, he has had consistent success growing and developing a wide variety of different product portfolios across the telecommunications, security and managed hosting/cloud spaces. Prior to joining Welltel Chris was focused primarily on managed security services and is a Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP).
He sees collaboration and communication as key to any company achieving real competitive advantage in an ever-shifting industry, and has always focused on the importance of effectively merging human factors with market-leading technology to deliver genuine value to customers in the managed services arena.
John Feeney is the Head of IT Operations for Welltel and he is responsible for managing the operations of the IT Engineering Team and the delivery of technical deployments and support services to Welltel SMB and Corporate clients.
He joined Welltel in December 2019 as a result of the acquisition of Invistech Limited where he was the founder and Managing Director for 11 years. Invistech delivered IT and Telecoms products and services to SMB and Corporate clients in Ireland.
He has a proven track record with over 20 years of senior management experience in the IT and Telecoms products and services industry.
Michael is Head of Project Engineering and is responsible for delivering enterprise telephony projects with a team of Avaya and Verint engineers.
He joined Welltel with the acquisition of Capstone where he was an Engineering Manager. With a 30 year background in enterprise networking, Michael has an MSc in Applied Cyber Security.
